Extra virgin olive oil
Extra virgin olive oil is the natural juice obtained from a combination of the finest varieties of olives, harvested just as they reach the desired ripeness.
Migasa offers a fruity extra virgin olive oil full of nuanced flavours. Its organoleptic properties are unrivalled, so it manages to enhance the flavour of any dish.
Virgin olive oil
Virgin olive oil is the juice obtained only using mechanical processes with the finest varieties of olives.
MIGASA offers an oil that never comes into contact with chemicals, hence its outstanding quality.
Olive oil is obtained from a mixture of refined olive oil and extra virgin olive oil. This results in an oil with a mild flavour, with all of the natural properties of olive oil.
Migasa’s olive oil is perfect for everyday use, both cold and hot. The mild, nutty flavour ensures that dishes retain all their aroma.
Olive pomace oil
Olive pomace oil is obtained from a mixture of refined olive pomace oils and extra virgin olive oil.
This oil is best used in fried foods because, thanks to its composition, it retains the essential properties of olive oil and withstands high temperatures, thus enhancing the natural flavours of each product.
Sunflower oil is a vegetable oil that is extracted from the pressing of sunflower seeds.
This type of oil is one of the healthiest options for getting an oil that is rich in heart-healthy unsaturated fats, vitamin E and is also considered a powerful antioxidant.
High oleic sunflower oil
High oleic sunflower oil is obtained by selecting seeds that are not genetically modified.
One of the main characteristics of oleic sunflower oil is that it ensures that foods have fewer calories because it does not saturate them with excessive fat. Furthermore, it decomposes more slowly at high temperatures, which means that the physical and chemical properties of the product are preserved for longer.
Rapeseed oil is a vegetable oil obtained from rapeseed through pressing, extraction and subsequent refining processes.
This oil is characterised by its content in monounsaturated fatty acids, especially high in oleic acid (omega-9, C18:1), linoleic acid (omega-6, C18:2) and linolenic acid (omega-3, C18:3). Its properties include stability, a neutral taste and resistance to high temperatures, which makes it ideal for cooking all kinds of recipes.
Grape seed oil
Grape seed oil is a vegetable oil extracted from pressed grape seeds before undergoing complete extraction and refining processes.
This oil adds a fresh, fruity touch, making it ideal to be used cold – such as in vinaigrettes and dressings or for meat maceration. Its compounds include a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic acid (omega-6, C18:2).
Avocado oil is extracted from the stone of the avocado fruit before undergoing a refining process.
This oil has a mild flavour, and is excellent for using on baked products and in salad dressings. Its high smoke point also makes it ideal for stir-frying, frying and roasting. In addition, it has moisturising properties and is rich in fatty acids, omega-6 and omega-9.
