In our constant search for improvements in industrial efficiency and environmental sustainability, we have carried out a significant upgrade at our facilities in La Roda de Andalucía through the replacement of our fossil fuel boiler with a new state-of-the-art biomass boiler.
This important transition has been developed within the framework of the ERDF ERDF ERDF Aid Programme of the IDAE (Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving), part of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. The installation of this new boiler has resulted in a substantial reduction of atmospheric emissions and a notable decrease in CO2 emissions, contributing significantly to the neutralisation of greenhouse gases.
The adoption of biomass technology not only promotes environmental sustainability by providing an efficient use of organic agricultural waste, but also generates a positive impact on rural and agricultural areas, fostering socio-economic improvements in these communities.
